How do I use dino abilities?

I have a parasaur and with right click I have a radar that detects enemies. But when I use that turret mode it also sometimes roar. Is there any way I can use that roar or does the dino only do it himself if he is in turret mode? I didn't find any option for that in the settings.

For most creatures, their third attack is on the crouch key (default C), and the parasaur's roar is one of those. Left click, right click and C are the three main attack/ability keys for dinos.

There are a few rare cases where some may have extra stuff on other keys, such as the mammoth's wood gathering attack on spacebar. But those are exceptions rather than the rule.
