Increase maximum Markers on map pls.

I want to ask some players if they agree with my statement i think the 5 Markers you can set on your map are bit too low. I set 3 markers for my fav. caves and 2 for my 2 bases but i want to add another or two more to my map like for example "my enemys base" or for the base of my friend.

So i ask for a small increase of the maximum map markers like 8 -10 markers max.

Better still, woudl be to make the markers have name plates or something you could scroll through so your entire map isnt covered in a cluster ♥♥♥♥ of letters.

More markers yes. The game process eats up 8GB RAM I'm sure there is room for a few more
markers in memory. /eyeroll devs

found this in a search and seemed to be the only topic discussing it, but i agree with you completely.. we really need more map markers... or maybe an admin command to raise the cap?

I used to use them for caves before I memeorized em. Speaking of; the number of markers probably should be at least as much "special locations" they add

just tried to add map markers for every land cave... couldn't even do that. there are definitely nowhere near enough markers. 10 would be a very decent number. and as for the pins, yeah they suck. my mate and i are constantly confused over where we actually are because the pin is so big and far away from the name of it.

Alternatively, I use an in-game note on which I have written lots of PoI coordinates. That note, combined with a GPS, represent all I need for my travels across the Island.
Notes are dirt cheap to create and you can put them in a folder in your inventory to reduce clutter.
