Nitrado Servers Mods?
I can't seem to make any mod work on their servers. I've FTP'd the files into the correct mod files. I followed the directions on their web site, changed the map settings but still can't get the mods to work

Also not sure where to chage the "TheIsland?listen?GameModIds=505613683,479295136,495469272?RCONEnabled=True?RCONPort=XXXXX?SessionName=XXXXX?MaxPlayers=30?Port=XXXXX?QueryPort=XXXXX?ServerPassword=XXXXX?ServerAdminPassword=XXXXXX?listen"

Any help would be greatful as their customer support seems to be a bit lacking.

I've had a very similar issue, Trying to run 2 mods, SlowStuffDecay & B****in Beacons. Both Mods worked Fine when i was running a non dedicated multiplayer session. I then got an Unofficial Nitrado.net server for myself and some friends and no mods work now. I've uploaded the files to the mods folder on the server, Ive added the mod id's to

arkse/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/GameUserSettings.ini

and nothing is working, have i missed anything? I contacted Nitrado.net support and the response i got was

Hello,

Thank you for your support request.

the mods was correctly downloaded and is located in the mods folder. Somehow it seems that ARK itself would not load the mod, but which is sadly out of our range. I would recommend you to ask the developer directly if there is a fix or if it is a bug in the serversoftware for now:

Can anyone suggest anything that might help either the original poster or myself?

fpsplayers is fairly cheap and so far ive had no more issues than a local server does and customer support has always been helpfull and understanding (just my experience with them)

they even made me a custom command line

i have the same issue running mods on nitrado all the files are setup correctly but where do i add the command line to initiate the mods. cant find a option to add it anywhere?
aawolf you dont need a custom command line by default, i think that was likely Dark doing something fancy. I managed to get the mods running on Nitrado's servers, after some experimentation, in my case i was missing the .mod files from the same folder as the mods folders. Not every mod has a .mod file, but those that do have the same numbers as the mod folder. So the folder on your server should look sonething like this

In your webinterface where you can change your server settings. You have to enter the ID of the mod to make the mod working. It the mod is installed correclty, it should show the number of the mod under the window where you can enter it. You see your installed mods under the window and the activated mods in the window itself.

Seems stupid but works well once you got used to it.

PS: You can get the ID of the mod either from above the window, or if this is not working, by going to the mod in the workshop. The last part of the webadress is the mod ID

For example: Little Dragon Mod

steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=519998112

519998112 is the mod ID.

Managed to get the mods working.. I found that you had to add the "mod id" number from the folder that was inside the mod folder but not the "mod folder" itself. I can prolly show it step by step if someone else isn't geting the mods to work on the Nitrado servers?

Thanks all for the updated answers I guess I should have marked this as Answered or Fixed?

This worked for me, thanks! Finally the mod worked. I followed all instructions and uploaded the MOD-File manual which my FileZilla couldnt find. (The file which is separated from the mod folder). As ive already downloaded the mod for my game I had to test if the mod worked, so I did. Everything stacks better with the new loots I collect. My existing items stacks the same as they did before adding new the new stack mod.

I use SurvivalServers and i have no issues. Copy and paste Mod Id and restart the server boom its there. I moved to Survival Servers because the only response i would ever get from CheapArkServers was we dont do direct mod support but for $10 a month we will add and take away mods at your discretion.
so the only thing that you need to add is the .mod file not the whole folder?
If you're on a Nitrado server you need to have both the folder with the mod in it and the file that goes along with it using the .mod filetype.

If you look at your file manager, you can se two folders. One is Arkse the other is mods. Place the Mod folder you want to run in the Mods directory.

Second, you want to upload the .mod file needs to go in the directory arkse>shootergame>contents>mods folder.

Once that's done, go to your server settings page and it will have a place to put the mod ID's for the ones you want to run with your server. You need to have the mod number in this field for the server to recognize it and attempt to load it on startup.

Sorry, I'm not good with explaining this stuff, but I learned a lot through trial and error with my own Nitrado server =/

Yes, everything Felli said is correct. You must upload the mods to the mod files and you must upload the .mod file as well. For big mods FTP is your friend. But you will have to upload the .mod file manually through the nitrado web page. Unless you are savvy and know how to do so through FTP.

I am not savvy so I do it the way I described. :)
the Annunaki is a total conversion, and the difficulty mod needs to be in first place to work, but bewabre using it will cause dinos/players to lose stats as this are hardcapped if you level to much in 1 stat your beeing resetet.
nevermind, facepalm supreme...
