Organic Polymer
I thought we were gonna have to take say 2 of these items, throw it in a forge with a bit of hide to create regular usable polymer (like oil). I think that might be a little bit more balanced.

Also, I see that the devs reduced polymer clubbing by 40% but now it almost makes clubbing them pointless as you can eat their corpses for nearly the same amount.

Pick axe or hatchet make any difference?

on a 10x server, you get like 70 (before 40% reduction) with a club, and 24-30 with hatchet

On my 1000x server you get overloaded by just killing one of them. KAPPA
Feedback of cheaty servers is irrelevant.

Funnily enough polymer isn't what you need the most of in this game. You can't build with polymer(yet). It's cementing paste, so adding more ways of getting polymer really isn't a problem.

Sounds like you haven't really gotten started on elevators just yet..

what an idiotic troll answer...

it was a nice way of showing off the relative difference between clubbing and normal killing. since the server settings buff both methods the same
*facepalm*

I thought they were going to add blubber, since its in the dossier. Refine some blubber into organic polymer in a forge.

The dossier says that they have an organic hardening compound in their blubber that becomes a type of organic polymer when beat. Not sure what made you think you were going to get blubber when it tells you that you can harvest the organic polymer from it

Just seemed more realistically sound in my head that way, i guess. Beating something into something else only works with potatoes imo.

Then you really should increase the carry weight modifier.

No problem then.

How is this relevant. It does not answer the question at all.

Yeah it does answer the question. just divide his numbers by 10

No it doesn't. He asked if hatchet or pickaxe gave more organic polymer. He gave an example of a club and a hatchet. Didn't say anything about a pickaxe

> cheaty servers

Well, private servers usually have higher *SETTINGS*, but are not cheaty. I find there to be more 'cheaty' in official servers with the rampant hacking, not to mention that offline griefing and base raid makes official servers downright unplayable.
