craft : ingredients too heavy
Hello,
I have a little problem : i want to craft a big dinosaur gate and i have all the ingredients and the engram but i can't put them all in my inventory at the same time to craft it : it's too heavy
Is there a trick to craft this door ?
Thank you in advance :-)

Only thing i could think of was look for a blueprint and create it in the smithy...

1.Make a bunch of chests near one another.
2.Fill the chests with matrerials for it.
3.Stand between the chests, grab all mats from them.
4.Craft the damn thing.
5.Profit!

You can only have 2x your max carry weight in your inventory and IIRC the stone behemoth mats weigh 800u

You can't do that if you don't have 400 weight max alligator.

Well than it is broken.... Havent tried crafting that after the rebalance. Then again i got 450 weight on my character :P

Wish they would add behemoth walls instead.

Throw away the needed items to bottom and pick it up again - now you can collect all.
Works fine when you craft the Stone Behemoth Gate (750x Stone; 750x Wood).

Gather up the mats somewhere, take what you can and drop them in front of you, repeat till all mats are on the ground. Pick up all mats, craft gate.

There's only a weight check when transferring from a container, there's no weight check when picking up from the ground so you can far exceed the normal limit.

Presumably that'll be addressed but hopefully not before the broader issue of gates.

Hmm, that sounds suspiciously like an "exploit", which is what all the gate-haters were complaining about when we started using them as walls, and was the reason the devs gave as to why they broke the b-gates and put us all through this nonsense. So basically you're saying we have to use an exploit to fix what the devs completely boned when they claimed to be fixing an exploit?

Definitely sounds like ARK dev logic to me.

You people will complain no matter what

put your carry weight on 410 wich is good enough as a builder for ark

Says the genius complaining about a post made over 9 months ago, about an issue long since put to bed. LOL, are you actually being serious?
