Resetting Explorer Notes makes me not gain EXP buff
I recently (01.11.2024) used "cheat GiveAllExplorerNotes" on my main save The Island (without backup save), because I was unable to unlock Paracer dossier and some others (had them, but with lock icon) to gain "Perfect Explorer Achievement" (I know about HLN-A notes and got them on The Island, yet I've got 90% Achievement only) and I regretted that, so I resetted them with deleting "PlayerLocalData.arkprofile". It worked but when I started note run I discovered that I am not getting the EXP buff. I also tried by deleting "LocalPlayer.arkprofile" and it didn't work. I returned the files (had them copied on desktop) to folders and I continued my search for answer by loading my latest backup that was from 25.10.2024, but all the notes stayed. If it's only on map The Island I can live with that, but I guess it's on other maps too, so how am I able to gain EXP buff from them?

No way to edit it that I'm aware of I'm afraid, no. The .ini config files are written in plain text and can be edited easily, but the PlayerLocalData file is encoded, so you'd need a program to be able to unscramble it before you could even begin to consider editing it.

And as mentioned above, you could use admin commands to transfer control of your bases and dinos to the new character, and take them over. Just look at your old base from close range (close enough to use the E radial menu on it) and type into the console:

giveallstructure

Then go to each dino in turn, get close again, and while looking directly at it type:

givetome

Explorer notes are character-specific, so you may have to make a new character to make them work properly again. If you did this, you could use admin commands to level yourself back up to the same level as the old one, and take control of your old base and dinos, so you wouldn't necessarily lose your progress.

Another option since admin is already being used would be to either give yourself the buff or just give yourself the exp Examples are Below

cheat addexperience 1000 0 1

cheat ForceGiveBuff Buff_ExplorerNoteXP ( use 0 to disable it)
cheat ForceGiveBuff Buff_ExplorerNoteXPSpecial

So there is no way that I can edit out the Explorer Notes and their logs of "one-time only gaining EXP" in the "PlayerLocalData.arkprofile" files? Also if I make another character how I would be able to interact with my stuff (dinos, structures) when I would be out of the Tribe of my original character?

Sad is that I can't edit files but thank you very much for your answer Hermit, you saved me from sitting hours trying to override the problem I made myself, I am very grateful <3
