Speaking as a someone who has a breeding pair of 120 giga's I'd be a more than a little miffed with some whack off popped up on my server with a store bought giga...

to say I'd make it a personal mission it kill it just to prove what a waste of money that was...

Pffft, to you maybe.

Buying dinos via DLC is a really crap idea anyway, for various reasons. It would kill the game for many players because why go for the challenge when some incompetent player can just buy the dino you have worked your ass off to get. It would be oh so easy to grief players buy buying OOT dinos and just causing havoc. On private servers dinos can be spawned at will anyway, and instantly tamed if the Admin so wishes. For single player, not only can you spawn them with a command and insta-tame them, but modders will be adding new dinos anyway.

I hope I never see DLC that lets players buy dinos - ever.

Dude, could you stop talking about money for digital creatures?
The game will never see a feature where you can sell in-game dinos for real money. It's not just happening.

You can join or create one of those "buy a dino pack for $200 and get every carnivore in the game from level 50. Pay $500 for all level 120" servers.

Will there be DLC suck but its will be expansion packs like games have done for years and years not the crappy p2p or p2w crap model that ios and android games use. IF you want that go play them and waste your money and time

This. I don't care if they cost 120 usd or whatever...It should NOT be pay to win. If you want to help people on your server, go tame/breed creatures and then sell them for whatever materials in game. They should not cost real life money at ALL.
