And even then, it's randomized. I'm not sure the game can even accomplish what you want normally.
You need to probably find a mod to do that. I don't think changing the settings will do that.
When I play single player with the same setting and hitting a rock with a pick axe a single time I get 14 flint, 5 stone and 1 metal.
When I play on the server I just started and hit a rock with a pick axe a single time I get 20 of a single resource. Could be flint, could be stone, could be metal.
I want it to work like single player on the server. How?
To turn it off, shut the server down, then go to the server's GameUserSettings.ini config file. In there, look for the section [Server Settings] and try to find a line which says 'UseOptimizedHarvestingHealth=True'. Delete True and put False instead, then save the file and start up the server again. Just be warned that when doing this, the server is more prone to lag when harvesting lots of materials all in one go.
We have really been struggling with prime meat and other rare resources.
