Crossplay server ps5/pc

Hello
So me and a pal wants to play some ark but we need a server thats crossplay from pc (steam) to ps5.

We are looking for a server thats not totally vanilla, more like somthing with 50x gather etc etc...



anyone who knows a server with these settings?

as far as I know PC cannot have crossplay with PS5

according to the internet, pc/ps5 can play crossplay on some unofficial servers

Not for Survival Evolved. Survival Ascended maybe... But thats a different forum.

Everyone on that Reddit thread is talking about Ark Ascended, not Ark Evolved. Ascended does have crossplay yes, but Evolved does not. For Evolved:

Steam can play with Epic Games, but only on dedicated servers and no mods.

Windows Store version can play with Xbox.

Playstation and Nintendo Switch versions cannot play with any other platform.

Aside from those scenarios, nothing else works.

What about ps4 and ps5? some says that ps5 and ps4 are able to play together? is that correct?

i dont wanna boot up my ps4, buy ark, buy ps plus and find out they cant play together, just wanna make sure lmao

according to the internet the earth is flat too

however ASE version is not crossplay except:
- Steam and Epic on non-workshop mod on proper crossplay servers
- xbox and windows store on proper crossplay servers

as mentioned, for proper crossplay you need ASA

This has been asked and answered now for many years.

Steam-Epic: they can play together ONLY if its a dedicated server, -crossplay setting enabled, and no mods used.

XBox-Microsoft store purchased win10UWP version: Only these two can play with each other because UWP is the universal Windows Platform that both play on.

Playstation: completely exclusive to itsef.


----ANY---- other "can xyz play together" are not permitted.


As others have made clear to you though Ascended is different.


You have the steam version of Evolved as indicated by your mouse icon next to your name, which is the arguably the most robust because All mods are exclusive to it. If you're trying to play with friends on other platforms, sorry. Not gonna happen. They're going to need to switch to here or you playing the same console considerations as they. No amount of whatabouts and what ifs for years makes the reality change on this. Sorry.

I'm afraid that detail I don't know specifics on, sorry. You might be best asking on the official forums at survivetheark.com ...if you'll be able to get an accurate answer anywhere I would think that would be the place.
