Raise Tamed Dino lvl cap!

Hi, I wonder how I can raise the max lvling cap for dinos, by default its 60? I wish to change it to 100. So for example, after I tamed a 120 dino, it comes to lvl 179, then I can lvl it to 279.

How do i do this? Whats the code for it? Ive read some posts about it but I only get confused.. Its not clear enough for me, I am horrible with codes

Please help, this is for single player

Did you even read my post? I said tamed dinos, not wild dinos

This is not asking about the level for wild dinos, just the amount of levels they can gain after being tamed, which I think is the same in the higher difficulty. (Besides, the OP mentions a level 120 dino, so I suspect difficulty is already at 1.0)

Looking at the server config options (which, for the most part, can apply in singleplayer as well), changing rhe number of levels a tamed dino can gain is not a straightforward thing. It seems that you would have to specify the levels and experience needed for every level a player and a dino can gain.

Might be easier to find a mod where someone has already done this. Or at least a copy of someone's ini file to use as an example.

He meant raise the max amount of levels you can gain on a TAMED dinos. Currently after you get a tamed dinosaur you can only gain 60 levels on it. What he wants to do is raise the max amount of levels a tamed dinosaur can get.

If you want to do that you have to go to the game.ini (Steamapps/Common/ARK/Shootergame/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor/Game.ini) and enter this

[/script/shootergame.shootergamemode]

Oh, nice! So it just scales the levels based on total experience gain? That is MUCH easier than what I thought would have to be done.

Thanks! Exactly what I needed, well I guess its ok if they can get to 420 as long as it doesnt go too fast ^^

this did not work for me is there anything else i can do

Would just create new problems. The cap would hit again and somebody would be back here screaming 'raise it again' and in the meantime the servers groan under the weight.

But to answer the most recent question: I'm afraid the solution of just using the MaxExperiencePointsDino config is flawed, that will not work. You have to define the experience points for each individual level as well as the max, as Tanek said.
