how do i pick up creaturs most controls work (including ones with ctrl) but i cant pick up any animals.

edit: i can pick up tames but not wild animals am i supposed to be able to pick up both or just tames?

Should be able to pick up almost anything besides the obvious water and flyer tames......only ground critter you shouldnt be able to pick up is Brontos

You are playing on PvE mode. By default, picking up wild creatures in this mode is disabled, to avoid players online trolling others by dropping wild dinos into people's bases. You have to turn it on by adjusting the AllowFlyerCarryPvE setting. I can't recall whether there is an option for it in the single player advanced settings, or whether you have to go into the .ini config files to edit it, but it'll be there somewhere.
