ARK ps4 need to fricking pay to play online

Why the hell do i need to pay to play online?! I did not need to play before the crossplay update came. But when i tried to play with my brother him on ps4 and me on my crappy pc he said i need to pay to play with you. ONLY when i was finally able to play with him online they decided to ad the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rule to not be able to play online on ps4. I hope they undo this ♥♥♥♥.

1) All consoles now require a subscription to play any games online. This has nothing to do with WildCard, it's on Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, and was one of the main reasons I gave up console gaming for good years ago. If you have an issue with it, take it up with them.

2) Ark has never been crossplay Playstation with any other platform. Steam can play with Epic, but only on a dedicated server without mods. And Xbox can play with the Windows Store version. But PS4 has never been able to play with anyone other than PS4. This isn't a fault of the devs either, as they say they got crossplay working fine in the office, but Microsoft and Sony wouldn't permit them to release it.

3) I believe they may be planning to add crossplay in the upcoming Ark Survival Ascended, including with mods, if you are willing to buy the game a second time.

Hello you can't even buy individual maps on ps4, they attempt to force you to buy every map.
