DLC are maps. If you wish to follow the story canon content of the game then the 5 dlc's such as those would be of merit for you.
As far as official servers though are concerned, it has no relevance unless you play on those 1800ish official servers. Only a minority of the player base play them now anyway as the majority instead play on the 70,000+ unofficial servers out there around the world. In those unofficial server cases, they may be using some or all of those maps in their clusters so if you wanted to play their clusters it may too be advantageous.
In other words, its your choice or choosing instead to pay 60 for the Ascended UE5 version of the game when it comes out in August and getting all the dlcs that way may be something you want to do, though personally I would recommend holding off until you actually see how Ascended goes. The DLC's we have now with Ark 1 are to be staggered over a year and a half(potentially longer since there's info coming out that Ark 2 isn't actually releasing at the end of 2024 but Spring of 2025(info coming from a 3rd party studio doing work on Ark 2...).
You have choices and there's basically no need to feel a sense of urgency in any case.
Wrong, wrong, wrong.
go read the announcements. Ark survival evolved will still have critical bug fixes provided as needed. Ark survival evolved is just "finished". Done. They're not adding any more expansions.
But there's ALREADY a ton of content out for the game. 8 years of content just waiting to be played. Telling people not to buy the game now, is like telling people not to buy/play The Witcher 1, 2 & 3, because CD Projekt Red announces they're not ever making a Witcher 4. Doesn't mean the previous games will dry up and blow away on the wind, or that those games are not phenomenally good.
And from all the hyperbole and melodrama I see in the forums right now, it's pretty clear a huge chunk of people have no plans to buy ark survival ascended when it's released, so they're all going to keep playing on unofficial servers (as the MASSSIVE % of the player base was already doing. 1800 official servers versus 80,000 unofficial servers).
