Single player experience without mech dinos

Hi there.

Is there a mod that I can get rid of the mech dinos? I want to have a more realistic vibe playing SP. I played the Island some years ago and it was awesome, now with the all futuristic bs pulls me off the experience...

I would appreciate a map recommendation that fits this criteria too (since now even The Island has some weird constructions), thanks!

NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="BionicPara_Character_BP_C",ToClassName="")

Goes into the game.ini config file. No mod needed. Add a new line for each creature you want to remove, Classnames can be found here:

https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Creature_IDs

Just remember to add the line [/script/shootergame.shootergamemode] at the top of the file, above everything else.

Make sure to install the mod that removes the giant floating obelisks in the sky. Oh and the cybernetic implant in your arm too. Yeah, you'll need those.

For the map, can't go wrong with Ragnarok imo. My favourite Ark map of all - fantastic scenery, cool base locations, lots of secret areas to discover. And no tek aspects to it except the obelisks themselves (and loot drops, but they can be turned off in configs too).

If you happen to run a dedicated server, for example by using Ark server manager which I highly recommend, it supports simple drop-down boxes to turn such things off. Quite handy. Although I would mention that from the extinction map onward, Tech dinosaurs and things like cryopods make a heck of a lot more sense.

You can run a dedicated at home, on a stupid little laptop and it works great. Some serious benefits over single player.
