What about entirely new players who just found about ark. If they buy the ark ascended version, are they "mindless".
Yes, because they don't understand what the developers are trying to do. Ark is a flagship game, it's the basis for everything going forward. Videos, Screenshots, Clans, Servers, etc.. all wiped because they want to "remaster" it and give it a new name, and slap a price tag on it instead of just giving the existing game a DLC update that is elective to people who've sunk endless hours and years into a game they're effectively shutting down.
This is technically the natural order of games that rely on Servers.
They would have been shut down at some point anyway.
Unironically calls himself Rick Sanchez.
Hardly surprising.
Wildcard is another example of a company who 100% does not comprahend what their game is about and why people bought it.
let me spell it out for all the smooth brains at wildcard
D-I-N-O-S-A-U-R .... not flying tech dragons... you blithering f***ign ******
Oh yea..... you're totally right, /sarcasm, just like with World of warcraft were the Vanilla/ WOTLK days were just talked about as ''history'' and how ''a bunch of people got butthurt''... not in the way it actually happend back in reality where blizzard almost f'ing died because of their WOW blunder and LITERALLY were forced by their community to go back to the vanilla days... You remembner that one? Were they just talked about it as if it was history and a bunch of butthurt players... are you even old enough to remember that? Is what I want to know given your stance on this issue.
But, oh, I'm sorry. I'm distracting from you downplaying a boycott...
lmao, you don't know wtf you're talking about.
Go on, pay them another 100$ so you can replay the EXACT same buggy mess that has been Ark since the start. There is no reason to assume that they would fix ANYTHING in the game so buying this UE5 version is just braindead.
What would you point to as a well executed opitmization of an issue of mechanic that wasn't functioning well before and now works well? Please, take your time.
But Optimization and Resource usage was TERRIBLE for the first 2 or 3 years.
Oh you're talking about how the game used to not be able to handle 20 players doing sh*t in the same area? Yeah, I guess they fixed that... ? Well... not really but let's pretend they did anyways :D
