And if that is the correct understanding, then I'm afraid as far as I'm aware there are no commands to do this, no. You can edit the configs to give you more points, but that would negate the grinding aspect too, which isn't what you're looking for.
I haven't heard of any mods which do what you ask, but there may be some out there somewhere, idk.
EDIT: Out of curiosity I checked the wiki, and I did find this command:
UnlockEngram <BlueprintPath>
It isn't an engram point option, but it would perhaps allow you to grind something (materials or whatever), then throw away what you collected and unlock that engram in it's place, as if you had gained the points to unlock it. Not fully sure how well it would work though, or if the unlock would persist through a game restart. But it may be a round about way to make it work.
This is what i did not ask for. I want to earn bonus points on top of the (in my opinion perfectly fine) normal points per level. If i can't get this to work i have to think about unlocking blueprints while noting "bonus points earned" in some excel spreadsheet or something. Sounds like an annoying workaround tho - only because Wildcard seemingly broke something nice that was already ingame.
I mean, ye, i guess i have to think about engram points per level, too. But sounds like i got to change the engram point of the last (or better first) level every time i gain some more bonus points.
Finally some new grind to be done...
Edit: is this due to no more official servers? Sad story, if so...
I currently use about double what you "should" have in a single player game, just due to all the building parts, armors, and saddles that are required to be unlocked. The engram system is HEAVILY geared towards group play, and clans, and NOT singleplayer.
It requires changes to a config file.
