Looking to figure out the line of code needed to edit in game item weights as I’ve slightly increased stack sizes for my singleplayer world but would like to keep the original weight of item the same.

Eg. Increased berry’s to 250 current weight 25 but would like to edit the weight down to 10 of the organic stack size of 100?

Any help would be appreciated, have been looking now on YouTube and googling things on the wiki to and cannot find anything which seems to be of any use to myself.

I'm afraid I don't believe there is such an option. That's one thing that WC missed when giving us the ability to adjust stack sizes - the fact that most stack mods also change weight too.

Like Hermit said, there are no ini to change the weight. One of our cluster is a Vanilla cluster, we did like you did and changed the stacking but to compensate for not being able to change the weight of items/stacks, we upped the player and dino weight multiplier to 20x.

This is what I did after editing stack sizes. I figure it's not exactly cheating if editing stack sizes

Thank you for confirming what i though just was hoping there could of been a small line of code i could input into the Game.ini like ive already edited so that i can make it so the increased stack sizes have weight reductions guess ill have to look into how the mods edit this

You can only adjust stack size but no weight sadly.

See however I see mods that reduce weight so confused on what they do differently

Yes, Stacking mods allows us to adjust stack size and their weights via the Mod's ini file. Unfortunately, this was not implemented for us in the game ini without the use of mods.

See this is something I would have to look into more then as I only wanting to adjust specific items on my single player world for a “Easy” time for myself,

Thank you for confirming what I already suspected

You can also increase the amount of weight dinos and players gain per level up to compensate for the increased stack sizes.
Kinda works the same way as reducing the weight in practice.

I personally already have stats boosted and do not wanna make it so I can carry thousands of resources at ease, that’s the fine balancing act I have atm
