1. Snail/WC is in debt with loans coming due in dec this year and jan next year.
2. They were 4 months in arrears having not paid nitrado for their server providing.... until they make an agreement with Nitrado's parent company forgiving the money owed for the last 4 month AND an additional few million bucks loan to cover expenses in the short term for Snail/WC. In exchange for that, Nitrado now has exclusive server hosting rights for ASA, and will receive 20% of ASA's revenue if released in October. If it fails to release in October, they'll receive 20$ of ASE's revenue instead.
3. And a few other financial points/concerns (such as the millions in losses so far this year) discussed with all the above cited with Snail's SEC filings for the deal with Nitrado and the investor report too.

Basically, things look to be a mess and there could speculatively be ground to say that Ark 2 is not a focus for them if they cant get ASA to get them out of the red.

ASA was never the plan In the beginning they were Making Ark 2 and then they decided to make Ark ASA
If they kept making Ark too everything probably would be fine

How would everything have been fine? Making Ark 2 wouldn't have taken away their debts...they still would have had to pay, as Retsam said, whichever game they made.

They just chose to make the one which they felt had the most appeal, and which would perhaps bring them the most money in order to pay off those debts. And honestly they were probably right in that assessment, as Ark 2 has so far generated very little interest compared to the original game.

I find this a bit strange of you to say.

Pretty sure no one in this thread has been indicating they're "ok" as you claim. That wasn't a relevant point being made by folks.

What people have been doing is explaining to you the current predicament that SnailWC is in.

However, if you want to have things more explicitly addressed concerning Ark 2 specifically, whether you like it or not, due to the financial woes of Snail/WC, if ASA doesnt make a profit, the likelihood that the company shutters is plausible; and thus, there would of course be no Ark 2.

So at the moment your wants just simply do not match the reality of the situation.

Pretty much no one wants ASA (apart from Dudewithoutabrain and his alts). A few,( if you use a microsope), wants Ark2. Most people wants bug fixes and better code

Con el poco tiempo que hay para su lanzamiento,no hemos visto un trailer entre otras cosas como el monopolio de nitrado,lo de los salvados de los servidores oficiales,el intento de atraer a la comunidad hablahispana(lo del spam en el foro de ark de los fans de un streamer para votar las criaturas,querer colgarse del evento dedsafio)y otras cosas mas,eso ya huele muy mal.

So it sounds like ASA is getting booted out the door come rain or shine by 10/31. I'm trying imagine what the bugs will be like, and I immediately go into thousand yard stare mode.
