how could a game like this get positive reviews? its so trashy.

Ark is the greatest aneurysm you will ever have. It is buggy almost to the point of being completely broken, and will get you close to rage quitting at times. But it also has flashes of brilliance which keep you coming back for more. I don't honestly feel I can give it a good review or recommend it to anyone, but I will say that it is worth looking into to see if it appeals to you, because if it does, it could potentially bring you hours of entertainment. I'm not a fan of survival games, but I have over 6.5k hours in Ark...

I love this game. Its the beast Taming and collecting I have always wanted that Pokemon never gave me. Nor any other game with a similar selling point. The fact the creatures don't shrink upon taming is just an added bonus.

Yes the game has many flaws but what the game has given to me way out the cons.

I DO suggest steam version of the game over the other platforms solely cause of the Mods that give the game extra freedom and flavor. HOWEVER I do mention the game is vary demanding and to make SURE ones PC can handle it. If the PC can't handle it well...not my problem.

And I DID leave a thumbs up Review. The only game I ever bothered to leave a review on.

The only thing that could be really improved is the big space it takes on your hard drive because of the updates. Besides that, it is a very good game.

I was annoyed at first for not being given the milk and cookies I had come to expect as a new player.

Then I realized I actually was given exp for just surviving, which was enough milk and cookies for me. More than Minecraft does, but that didn't prevent it from being hugely popular. Although you have 10 minutes or so before anything will attack you.

Then I realized how to protect what I had. Basically, ancient castle design. I'm a builder type, so that pretty much sold me on Ark.

Then pure gravy - THERE ARE NO ZOMBIES!!!!

I was so sick and tired of killing zombies by the time I found Ark.

I NEED HELP PLEASE
i play pc ark but dead servers only show up and i looked up video after video nothing only one thing i have seen is my servers say unofficial and are dead but other peoples say unofficial PC sessions witch mine just says unofficial but can not figure out how to change it over to the pc servers please help game sucks cant play rn. game is great this sucks

On the OP post, he must be a troll, Ark is the best game survival wise. I mean I have Rust, Green Hell Stranded Deep, ect.... Rust is simply better in even solo mode.
Water and hunger drains not enough for you up the settings on the drain..
Could some things be done better in Ark? Sure, but I can say that about every game in existance
