Is it safe to log out while on a raft?

Been in a game where you could not log while on your boat. How about Ark? Can I log out while on my raft? My pets be okay on the raft if I log?

You should be able to, yes.
But, this is ark... so I recommend putting all your stuff into a box and logging out while laying down on a bed just in case.

I would not recommend it. On official servers you might glitch through the boat and drown while offline - has happened to me in the past. Pets do also glitch.

Pets should be okay, but storing your character's inventory as Hippo said would probably be best, as rafts can drift a little while you're offline and the ragdoll sleeping physics can glitch a bit.

I talked more about this on my server and no you should not log off while on a raft. If your raft held still maybe you would not glitch thru to drown but probably you will. Definately DO NOT LOG OFF ON ANOTHER PERSON'S RAFT as sleepying bodies cannot be moved by raft and will fall off without fail.
