No queen bees appearing when I destroy hives
I'm in redwood and this is my first time ever taming a queen bee and I've destroyed like 10 hives and no queen bees, why is this?

Edit:
I carried on destroying hives, I had about 2 hives where bees came out and 10 hives where they didn't and only in one of the hives the bees came out I got a queen, thanks for the help though everybody.

If you did a bunch of destroywilddinos then a bunch of empty hives are left behind

It's okay I carried on destroying hives and I eventually got a queen bee to come out, thank you though.

Some hives can be abandoned. Listen for the buzzing noise to tell if there's something in it or not.

I think you need to find a hive where bees actually appear from it when you take honey or attack it? And then you need to stay near it and keep killing bees until the queen appears.

I found it easiest to set up a pair of spiked walls to hide behind and kite the bees around until the queen appears.
