Trike early on, stego next. Bronto thereafter. Growing them is easy enough but to get maximum production requires greenhouses and that's latter game tech.

I also suggest taming a mesopithecus and have it on wander pregame, it'll help alot

To collect narcos? Sure, just don't wait up for them to give you any worthy numbers.

Also the Direbear is great for collecting berries.

Is more easy to grow them get a greenhouse and a beetle and you will have tons of pure narco berries

Ankylosaurus is pretty much as good as anything else for farming berries, but it also does metal, flint and crystal too. So if you tame one of those you get 4 resources for the price of one dino, far less mouths to feed and pets to look after. Only issue is it's saddle is mid-level, so takes a while to unlock.

And thatch too, don't forget the thatch! Plus it's tanky, the best all around dino in the game, so under rated.

The beaver can be a decent berry farmer. I could take my high level one around HI (at 640 weight) and just toss out the berries I don't want. 10 minutes or so gets me 2-3000 narcoberries.

Depends on the quanity your looking for. and the assets you have. If your looking for narcotics to tame animals. Early game a trike is good. since you will also need the mejo berries to make the kibble. If you have two people then a quetzal/stego combo works well. If your solo then a bronto will be wanted.

If you dont need any of the other berries. and just looking for an XP farm then growing is a good alternative. However you will also need a fertilizer farm to maintain it.
I love my greenhouse, but don't let these folks get you down on farming them because of the need for all that metal, crystal, and cementing paste. You can get approximately the same effect by simply building three crop plots instead of one, and you can do that at very low levels. All it takes is to keep a few compost bins churning as much as possible to do that.

I definitely agree that a bear is one of the best berry-gatherers right now. They're not that hard a tame if you can find one near a cliff you can shoot at it from above, too.

early on the dinos listed above and also making a few crop plots will work. Farming is really easy :)
