Hello! trying to connect to official primitive PVP1 - and always got this message. How can i fix this?

Yes im sure. 0 mods in my library for ark.

Make sure you restart your steam client so that your download starts. It should be around 1GB

1.1 gigs and you need to unsub and DELETE the actual files

To get to the mod folder right click ARK on ur library page and go to properties. go to the Local Files and hit Browse Local Files. Open Shootergame, Content, Mods. Now find the 3 gig folder (was 614734500) and the numbered file on the mods list and delete it!

From what I understand this is only happening to people who have unsubscribed to the mod but I could be wrong.

ok panda when i click download my steam freezes and it doesnt start the download so idk what to do

I have done all you have said Lazarus, and it didn't work. So no, not in all cases does your solution fix the problem.

It happens for me too, i got a fresh install of ARK.

If you're getting this warning it's because your server admin has not switched the server from mod to DLC yet. I've explained in more info here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/346110/discussions/0/357286663669685743/
