I can't load into some maps.

I've tried loading a modded map as well as ragnarok, and everytime the loading finishes the game closes and restarts to the main menu. Other maps work, and I have played on ragnarok before. Is this an issue with my RAM? I have 8 gigs of ram, and it still won't work if I play on extremely low memory mode. I have tried reinstalling the maps and verify integrity of game cache but neither worked.

I've already tried that, it still does the same thing.

I know the maps I'm trying to load that aren;t working have content from some dlc that I don't own. Is that the preoblem?

No, that shouldn't be an issue. Even if you don't buy the DLC, the creatures and items are loaded into your game in case you should ever go online and see another player who has got a creature/item from one of the DLC maps. If you didn't have those files, your game would crash when you saw them. So you will still have all the required files despite not having the DLC.

Is this a single player game you're trying to log into, or a server? And what mods are you using?

I don't have any mods loaded, and I'm trying to do singleplayer.

you need to unsub from teh map, then delete the mod folder and .mod file from x:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods

then delete from this directory x:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\346110

then log out of steam, and back in then re subscribe
