Granted having taming speed set higher will reduce the risk on that front, but it'd still be good to have plenty of narcotics by you to make sure it stays down for the count.
Cook some prime meat if you think you won't be able to farm raw prime fast enough.
At 10x taming speed the calculator sais 29 darts or 41 crossbow shots (I believe spinos have headshot bonus so maybe less if you get headshots). Also 27 cooked prime and 231-302 nacotics to tame it at +52 lvls, even better with some raw prime.
