On the topic of armour, all the supply catches ive gotten have been primitive, is it hard to get higher ranking items?

Alpha dinos are much more powerful versions of the standard dinos. They have much more HP and a huge attack power.

Low level alphas can be taken out with a very high level rex, but higher level alphas are best hunted with a flying mount or a large hoard of pets all at once. They give a large amount of exp and some rare drops though.

It was a rex, is there a good way to cheese kill a rex? Im on a server with friends.

wow so many wrong informations :D
low lvl alphas except rex can be killed with nearly everything when u dont do stupid things.
High lvl one are easy killable with a good rex or a good ptera ;)
my ptera with 700% eats alphas as breakfast

any well tamed dino can kill low lvl raptors and carno alphas and some rex. a decent giga or good rex and kill all alphas that ive seen

you cant get high tier armor unless your equal level so when your at the same level you get the engram then you can open a higher tier becon that has armor of higher tier

When you attack an alpha, when you attack, he will go a bit backwards, which gives you the time to attack again. So be prepared and keep on clicking, and always level up the melee attack. That way you can easily kill an alpha creature. But yea, watch out for those as they can kill you very easy. Just make use of when you attack the animal goes a bit back. If you do good, you didn't even got hit once :)
