ARK survivor not showing up?

I've got to the obelisk, i was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lvl 87 and when i uploaded my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ survivor i moved to the center map and when i clicked download survivor NOTHING SHOWED UP!!! I WAS PLAYING THIS GAME FOR MONTHS MAYBE A YEAR AND NOW I LOSE ALL MY PROGRESS!? if anybody has a clue pls tell me cuz i was working so hard on my survivo guyz please help!!!!!

Survior download may not be enabled on the server you are on.

problem could be the mapchange, as chardata is saved where the arkdate is saved and when you change the map you change the save. if you dont upload and change the map it works.

Official servers have downloading from the obnelisc deactivated, as have many unofficial ones.

You've been playing a year and only lvl 87? Sounds like you're playing the game wrong

guyz i didn't want to play on server. im on singleplayer

i dont know if its possible to upload in singleplayer as you dont have a real server. just change the map and you should continue playing your char.

also items are not saved so if you upload it and change the map you can just start new and add yourself some xp

i know that items won't show up but i was on map the island and i wanted to go to the center i downloaded dlc and everything worked fine until i realized i cannot download survivor data

It also happened to me i ascended
On the island then i booted up genisis part 2 to download my survivor then is was gone

(only for pc )i have found a solution first you have to create a survivor on the map you wanna go then you have to go to youre files then go in the saves on the map you were playing then copy the file LocalPlayer.arkprofile then go to the other map you wanna play file and past the file and for finish juste go in ark and play the map you copy the filed in

Your survivor is stored in a few different locations based on single player / local real server, settings and what you have done.

Game just uses standard copy functions with no synchronization or atomicy mechanics to protect you from loss. Completely incompetent programmers.

Run on a real server with stable hardware to minimize errors.
