Tree Tap

How does this work and how do i plant one, do i plant if on a Redwood tree or soemthing else? I just tried to plant one, and it broke my taps.

make it in the smithy, tree taps work like wall trophy mounts where they only snap to walls, but taps only snap to redwood tree's, and only the thick ones, they produce a single sap about i say 10 minutes, and sap stacks to 20, but theres only one slot per tap, but you can place multiple taps on one tree, its reccomended you biuld a tree platform first :0

to make absorbent substratein the chem table, which is then used to make gas masks in the fabricator, also i heard someone say sap is used to make herbi tastycakes

Is it above level 62 or am i just blind?

Absorbent substrate is all the way at the bottom of vanilla engrams.

I haven't seen the recipe for herbi tastycakes, anyone have more info on that?

its a cooking pot recipe, think its sap all 4 veggies stimulint and fiber

I just made a few, made a platform, used the tree tap and it broke.. and yeah it was a thick tree.
