HELP Boulders re-spawning on Dinos?
Hey, I have been playing this for a while and lately I have found that if I leave my dinos somewhere that had a boulder and it re-spawns my dinos disappear. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Could it be a setting I changed and need to reset?

Seen alot of posts with disapearing dinos when stuff respawns, dont think there is much you can do per say, if your Singleplayer / own server, you could delay the respawn time. This should keep you somewhat safer when doing mining trips. As for respawning stuff in your base, place foundations where they spawn, might help keep you even more safe.

Other then that, just gotta wait for a fix I guess :/

Add your name to the bug report: http://steamcommunity.com/app/346110/discussions/9/357287304433912830/

Hopefully if enough people bump it enough times the devs will see it and act on it more quickly.

A good way to avoid losing ur dinos in this fashion is to park them in places where nothing spawns or place a foundation nearby to block resource spawning in that area.

After I lost the first two I started doing that but on my last mining run, I park the anky in a free stop when I came back there was a boulder there that I didn't know I mined. Is there a setting in the game file that could be the cause?

Never leave your dinos in the wild in a spot you don't KNOW is safe.
I went to the volcano when I KNEW that all the rocks and nodes were spawned in. I put a standing torch in an open location. Whenever I leave an Anky in the volcano to take materials back to base, I always park the Anky next to that torch so nothing spawns under him when I am out of render distance. Sure, it takes an extra minute to waddle him over to that torch, but I don't lose Ankies either.

I like that idea, I was just dropping the metal off and coming back when it spawned back in.

Working as intended. Was implemented ages ago to stop people hiding their dino's in rocks on PvP servers.

Sorry for your loss though, it would for sure be better if the rock simply didn't respawn if something was standing there.

Really I never know that it was made for that reason, I can see why it was if that's the case. And I think it would be better if they just didn't respawn like you said. But what can we do other than tame another one.
