Graphics in E3 Trailer

I saw the trailer and I was wondering, how they get those amazing graphics. I play Ark with everything maxed on epic and don't get even close to the graphics they have in the video. Are these 4k Textures or did they use Photoshop? Anyone managed to get this graphic Quality? If yes how?

I highly doubt they Photoshopped an entire video. If anything, they used something like ENB to add some additional Post-Processing. Or more likely, their development environment has access to some rendering functionality not yet available to the rest of us; likely due to performance reasons, or as part of the - yet un-released - DX12 support that they've worked on.

Odd that you don't get those graphics, because I do.
Everything on Epic, the right weather, the right angle on the lightrays(these trailers take FOREVER to film, fyi) and it looks like the trailers released. They don't have any "special" graphical settings they turn on. 4K textures won't make THAT much of difference from game to trailer.
And of course this is the new biome with a lot of new impressive assests so you can't compare old assests with what's to come. The new trees and surrounding environment does look amazing though.

I did not take the picture, its just to show how actual Gameplay looks compared to the e3 Screens.
Will take a screenshot in a few mins, so you can see how it actually looks for me in epic.

Yeah my thoughts exactly, it looks like your resolution scale is set to at MOST 80%. You might want to check your settings again just to be sure you're thinking of the same setting we're thinking of.

Like I said in my previous post, i did not take the screenshot, it was just to compare. Here are 3 screenshots i made 1min ago:
It looks not even close to the E3 footage. I made a screenshot of my settings too. If anyone has better graphic-results, please share how you did it and post a screenshot as well.

i just wish i could get better FPS. 2-way sli 980ti and a 4790k @ 4.5Ghz and im still getting ~45 maxed. if i lower ground clutter to about half then i get ~60fps

That last one is not Epic. Looks like it's being played maybe in dx10 mode.
