lost island map cant tame anything

single player game have tame speed set 4.0 , enabled allow tames. I use the admin commands nothing , i traq the dinos they go unconscious i put the food in still nothing ?

Can you take a screenshot of the KOed dino's mouseover info? It normally says "Tameable by: <tribe name>" or something similar.

What level is the creature? Some maps have areas where creatures spawn at double or even triple the max level of the map. Anything which spawns in those areas are untamable by default, since they are too high a level - the reason they are there is to guard artifacts or some other valuable resource.

Yes this might be the case. I remember that in singleplayer I had set the food consumption so that the dinos did not need any food, but without food consumption there is no taming. :) It took a while until I understood this dependancy :D
