Sanguine Elixir

For some reason me and my tribies are unable to use the Sanguine Elixir, has anyone encountered the same issue ?

Does your desmo have a saddle?

More information is needed. But if you're trying to feed the dino the elixir. It needs to be KO'd first, and you have to put the elixir in your hotbar and use it while the KO'd dino is in front of it to feed it. It's not like traditional taming where you just leave it in their inventory.

Can only use it once per creature I think.
Also doesn't appear to work underwater.

You have to be looking at the creature you want to use it on while being within range of it.
I've had no issues using it on knockout land tames, though it was a nightmare using one on an otter.

yes it does have a saddle and it was KOed we have failed to be able to use it under water and on land thus far.

I have the same issue, I've tried using it in the hotbar and in my inventory and it flashes in the same way other things that are consumed flash briefly before they disappear or the number of the stack goes down, it just physically doesn't do anything and also doesn't disappear, it doesn't get consumed at all. Is there something that has to be enabled for it to work?

Ok maybe it's just me... I originally tried to feed it to creatures... No joy. Then I discovered at least for me whether it was a new tame, new imprint whatever.. All I needed to do was have it in my inventory and be in their inventory, then I would consume the elixir in my inventory and poof extra 30% taming or imprint. One elixir per creature. Again I don't feed it to them I consume it while I'm in their inventory and get an instant 30% on tame or imprint. hope this is helpful.
