Yeah... Spaying/neutering is the removal of sexual organs so to prevent reproduction. In other words, no dino babies.

good God.. I'm wondering WHY it's being put in? What purpose does it serve? It seems so useless in a game XD This isn't Barbie vet simulator. and it's random af :P

Actually, lets say you are breeding high end dinos and I bought one, I'd have the right to then breed it, and undercut you as much as I had wanted, but with spay / neuter this is no longer an option.

Spaying pets would help to manage tribe members breeding animals willy nilly, if this doesnt affect non fert eggs being laid you can keep your base void of extra dodos XD

If ya think of the game as a business opportunity you would have understood immediately.

Means my wandering pets can wander and only the high level ones will breed, instead of my 1285 Argy mating with my 230 instead of my 1350...

Jesus, that's a lot of levels. I typically play privately so I don't understand the "in game" market. Thanks though for the info :P

Spaying/neutering was actually a community suggested feature. Some requests for this date as far back as February and several more recently so we've gone ahead and made it a reality. As stated above, it can be great for preventing unwanted breeding of your pure bloodlines and help keep business ;)

Well that's a bit of a let down. I didn't really think people were that worried about that aspect of breeding as a "business" in the game lol. I figured it was to allow you the choice of basically having a not so high level dino get neutered so it no longer could breed, but as balance it would possibly get a higher level cap, maybe +10 levels or something to make up for that.

Ah well. Nothing of use to me but I'm sure little things like this make the game feel that much more satisfying for many of us. :)

I for one love the economy aspect of this game, can't wait to neuter my 140 moose line, and sell em in bulk.

My tribe has always bred to sell, and we made quite a killing for our prized Wyverns and other creatures. Get as much as 5000 poly for 1 egg, 15,000 or more for a War Wyvern.
