Delivery crates not working

I bought a server and it doesnt seem like delivery crates work on servers unless you're following them. Almost an hour later and my crate hasnt arrived. I decided to use the console command fly to look for it and it was nowhere.

It does anyone perhaps know of a fix to this? I originally was riding on it too but some invisible wall pushed me off.

p.s for those that will ask why I'm not using an Argy. Its cause I kind of wanted a bit of a challenge. Flyers always made the game too easy so I set a no flyer rule on myself but its looking like I will be forced to use an Argy.

The coordinates system isn't always 100% accurate in my experience. I've noted down coords for my base on a specific point where I stood, input them for the crate, only to find the crate landed several foundations away from that point on the roof of my base. So make sure to check all around the landing area.

Also, crates drop down from above, so bear in mind if there are any cliffs, trees, or structures above you they may block it's descent and it may stop on them instead.

And finally, are you playing on a populated server with other players? Remember too that crates can be shot down if someone sees them flying over, so might somebody have done that and stolen your goods?

Just me and another friend but he hasnt been on in days. My base is an open wide area with lots of foundation spaces. I did check the coordinates also to see how far they stretched.

One thing tho the crate did pass over an obelisk and I'm not sure if it vanished or got stuck in there. Gonna give it another try tho. If not I guess I'll have to use flyers.

If an area isn't loaded the crate will stall and eventually despawn

I figured out what the problem was. They dropped under my foundations. I thought to look under cause when I was riding on a crate today I noticed my base wasnt loading yet and sure enough my crates were under.
