Can't find BabyImprintAmountMultiplier
I've heard there's an option you can enable in the config called BabyImprintAmountMultiplier that lets you increase the amount of percentage a single imprint gives, but I have been looking for this stupid line all over the files and I cannot find it. It should be in game.ini, but when I look in there I just can't find it, is something wrong? Did it get removed before I even learned about it? I've double checked game and gameusersettings but it just doesn't seem to exist

You hav to add the line manually to your game.ini, for example:
BabyImprintAmountMultiplier=10

Don't forget, first line in game.ini MUST be
[/script/shootergame.shootergamemode]

As Tom says, a lot of the config arguments in the game.ini file do not exist by default, you have to add them manually to make any changes to them.

Just paste the config on a new line in the file, make whatever changes you need to the multiplier, then save it. Next time you start the game it should take effect.

I have everything right, I made sure I typed it in correctly and had it in the right file, but I'm still not seeing any changes in my imprints. I am testing on pre bred ravagers, is it possible it only works with babies made after the changes?

Yes, that's very possible. I know that the mating cooldown config does not work retroactively, so any creatures which were on cooldown before will still have a long cooldown after the setting is changed. So it's likely to be the same with this setting too.

Well I just tried to place a dino gate and it told me I only had thirty seconds to pick it back up, when structure pickup has literally been enabled for years, and no matter what I do I can't get it to work again, so I think something is just seriously wrong with my config files, god this config system pisses me off

Is the game actually stopping you picking things up when the timer expires? On our server we use a building mod which allows us to pick up modded structures all the time, but we still get the timer countdown even when placing these modded structures. But the timer is purely visual, and the game allows us to pick things up even after the numbers hit 0.

Yep, let the timer run down on a small storage box, it becomes completely unmovable, even with the setting enabled, only option it gives me is to destroy it

I FIGURED IT OUT. I had to put it in the game user settings folder specifically under the server settings line, it can't just go anywhere. That still doesn't explain why I had to move allow structure pickup all the way into another group of folders when it was working perfectly fine in the generic ass ark config folder, but I'm not even gonna question it, I'm just happy that it finally works
