Can you reload a previous auto-save?
so i want to test if my megatheriums can handle the alpha broodmother, but i really don't want to fail because that would ruin hours of breeding. so if i would lose could i just reload a previous save or something?

thank you all in advance :lunar2019piginablanket:

Yes you can. Shut down the game and go to:

Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\SavedArksLocal

Delete the file 'TheIsland.ark', then look for one called 'TheIsland_NewLaunchBackup.bak'. You may want to copy that file to a different location first so you have it available if you need to revert multiple times. But then, change that file name to 'TheIsland' and change the file extension from .bak to .ark

Then boot up the game again, and you should be back at the point you were when you last logged in.
