...however speaking about the PC game, a sarco could indeed kill a spino, but it would very much depend on their levels and other factors. Firstly, if the sarc had a saddle to reduce incoming damage. Second, if the spino was low-mid level...a high level spino puts out more DPS than a rex and shouldn't be taken lightly. Third, if the spino is in water, because it gets a buff to damage and speed when hydrated, making it much tougher.
End of the day, if you have a decent saddle, the spino isn't too high level and you draw it away from water, then yes you may be able to take it. But it would be a little bit risky.
Can a tamed level 450 sarco kill a wild level 5 spino? Of course!
In reverse? Don't try it.
Try to use a spyglass to inspect the level from the distance. Don't risk it if you don't have a one, it's too late to escape from the combat if you find yourself in a bad shape as your sarco is not able to outrun/outswim a spino (maybe it can outswim but very risky).
Otherwise, tame some fast creatures like gallimimus or megaloceros to lure it away.
Not sure about the difference on mobile, but I assume the stats should be pretty much the same.
