Cant find any bone piles

Iv been looking for them for about 4 hours... iv searched every beach every single beach on the island all of the small islands and most of the grass area... but i have yet to find a single bone pile... do they really exist? please tell me.

yes i allready have over 200 bones collected. maybe you need to activate the event. i had to to this on my server hosters web interface. but there is also a comandline parameter(for singleplayer ex)

You have to not be sprinting for about 90 seconds for one to spawn at you, also are you sure you have the event active?

Stand still on the beach. After a time they will appear. They render around the player not necessarily search able unless on a server with alot of people moving around and a mound shows up. Dont run fast, fly/ride around. Once you encounter a few, then move to a different area/subzone and repeat or just go about doing other similar things. Again dont move around fast and prevent them from spawning.

sometimes it just doesn't activate automatically, try going to your library, then right click on ark, then properties, then set launch options, and put in:
-ActiveEvent=ARKaeology

why do cant the devs make then just spawn quicker i mean theyve done it with rocks and everything else

It's not like 90 seconds is a long time in this game compared to other things

On my official server, I noticed I had to be either walking around on a ground mount or flying pretty much against the ground with no sprint to see them.

Did you put the command into the launch options? (I'm assuming you're on singleplayer)
If you didn't get one after that time I can only guess it's not active.

That's started from the singleplayer menu though, right?
If so, just do what I said here to be 100% sure the event is active:
