Hatching help
So I have a mod that adds wild fertilized eggs and I just so happened to stumble upon two Therizino eggs. I also plan on getting a Spino egg. Thing is ive seen other people say that it depends on where you live how many air conditioners you will need.

I live at or roughly around 67.0, 84.9 on the east coast. Island map by the way. How many air conditioners will I need? By the way, I just wanna confirm this but I've seen other people with an outdoor or roofless hatchery. I thought it would be nice to make a little pen in my gated area to incubate and keep the babies for a little while. However, will this mess with the incubation progress? Thanks!

Yes, you can have an outdoors hatching pen, but it's easier to do it inside because if the egg is inside a home it gains the insulation bonus, other than that, there's no difference in hatching.

When you said you 'happened to stumble upon' two eggs, do you mean they were just lying on the ground out in the wild? If so then they will be unfertilized eggs, and cannot be hatched. In order to get fertilized eggs you have to have a male and female of the same species and set them to wandering near each other, then they will mate, and the egg they drop will have a red glow around it to show it's fert.

If you want to get a good dino I would recommend tamign then breeding two 140+ theris/spinos with good stats. You won't know if you baby will ahve good stats nd it will stay as the same lvel of its parents thoughout the process. (thats why wyvern and rock drake eggs spawn highler levels).

Out of curiosity, do these eggs show the level of the baby dino, or you have to hatch it to find out?

Yeah the eggs come at the level of their mother. the mother of the Therizo eggs was level 67 so thats what the eggs are.

Dimetrodons ( sailback ) dinos in the swamps act as living air conditioners if you want to hatch without all the generator/wiring/air conditioner hassle

if you build your hatchery with its own power generator wiring isnt usually an issue as often you just need one or two cables depending on the design and layout of the air conditioners. I like to keep a few fridges in the hatchery as well to ensure i have a ready to use food supply as well as a place to store eggs you are going to hatch later. If you have a kibble table/vending machine mod i would have that in the hatchery as well to quickly make kibble for imprinting, unless you have an S+ nanny than you just need honey to keep the babys imprinted.
