What are the fastest mounts?
I've been googling it but I can only find older posts. Is the fastest land mount still the female megaloceros or is it the galli? Also, air mounts, is the tapejara faster than the ptera? And since I'm asking, what's the fastest water mount?

I actually use procoptadon over galli or megalocerous.... coz you can jump over obstacles.

Does it not send you flying while your on top on the rex but not mounted?

For land mounts, the galli is around twice as fast as a female megaloceros if both are pure speed trained.

For water, ichthy is the go-to for speed. It's possible to train up a speed plesio to be just as fast but they run out of stamina a lot faster and are not nearly as convenient. I haven't tried out the Diplocaulus, but it may be surprisingly fast.
Edit: forgot about mantas speed but they are cancer to tame...

For air, the fast cheap option is always pterra, but dragons will out-fly them by something like x2 speed easily (though turning is slow).

then edit all of your ridiculous post out as well. Mantas are the fastest creatures on ark.

Actually according to the wiki linked above, the manta is some way down on other creatures. And I can believe it too, both from my own experience and from Youtube videos I've seen of people testing the various animals.

I loved using mantas, but theres been this bug forever that kills them when they hit the surface sometimes. Usually happens near beaches or ramps, but ive seen it in open water and i stopped taming mantas.
