Egg Laying Interval & Eggs NOT Laying
So, I have my own private server for my wife and I and we're having issues with the egg laying interval. Only mod I have that could affect it is KaetoKid's stack mod.

So, I have the "egg lay interval" turned up to 100x via the ASM menu. They're all mate-boosted with an Oviraptor, and my understanding and math should mean the interval is approximately 11 seconds.

I do have 100 dodo eggs in a preservation bin along with others totaling about 120-130 eggs. Most are dodo eggs.

I used Pilgrimz Project build and have 6 Ankys, 6 Paras, 5 Argy, and 6 Raptors (Have yet to add theris). None of them are laying eggs and one of my Argentavis seem to lay 1 egg every hour or two. I only have 1 Argentavis egg currently in my bin.

This is frustrating. It's literally the only thing not working correctly with our enhanced server due to our limited time. We don't have hours to wait around for a few eggs to make kibble from. Any help and advice in solving this would be welcomed.

Additional Info: I know the egg lay interval only gives it a "chance" when it's up. It's unknown what that chance is, but mate-boosted is estimated a 2% to 10% chance every time. But at a 11.4sec interval with .ini settings for it set to 100x I should be getting plenty of eggs. This has happened regardless of what factor I set it out.

EDIT: I did make adjustments to the interval after most were tamed, but this shouldn't affect it.

Never used ASM myself, but with the default .ini file configs the egg laying interval means 'interval between eggs being layed', so increasing it actually increases that interval and makes eggs much less common. You have to reduce the interval, to maybe 0.5 (50%) or 0.3 (30%) to increase egg production.

Does ASM account for that, or does it just apply the numbers as you input them? If the latter, then high value configs might actually be hurting egg production rather than increasing it.

Yes...I...obviously knew that...because I was testing it. I read "increasing it will make them lay more frequently." I must have been exhausted when first looking into it...

Oh. I know. I was watching Pilgrimz video and he mentioned he had eggs laying at 5x the rate. I failed to read the footnote.

I'm not deleting this...so people can see my mistake.

To be fair bro, there are a number of descriptions on the wiki which genuinely are messed up like that, saying that the value should be increased when it's actually the other way around. I can't recall if this is one of those specifically, but I have seen it with quite a few of the descriptions over there, so it's a very easy mistake to make.

I don't have an account on the wiki myself, but hopefully some time soon somebody who does can go over there and fix instances like that. Would definitely be helpful for server owners to have those things clarified.

Yeah. There is a LOT of information that is not clear, and I know it's WildCard's intention. They won't clarify and leave the player base to discover and figure it out on their own.

ASM even says "decreasing this value will increase the frequency eggs are laid.

On the online wiki, you are 100% allowed to do changes and chances are they will stay. I did one more than a year ago and its here. I have no account at all.

Really? I was sure you needed an account to post updates there. Hm, thanks for the info, maybe if I get the chance I'll see if there's anything I can contribute there too then.

Lol. That's probably in the definition of a wiki, something like "place where you can get info gathered from everyone".
