Personally, I got a couple of good mutations on them, and then just stopped my Mana breeding program.
30 babies is just terrible luck to have no mutations at all on.
This is true, however in my case I'm breeding for the bosses, so I haven't actually got much tek unlocked yet. Not gonna lie though, I did spawn a mutator in when I was getting my daedon mutations (I'm playing solo so no cheating other players), because live births take so, so much longer than eggs.
Just wanted to get the darn things over with, and I figured since I've proven I can get the mutations naturally all I would be cheating was time, not resources or anything. And I threw the mutator away once I had the muts I needed.
FYI, for live births, the Dino Storage 2 mod has an incredible side-ability you can do where babies in range of the storage station are automatically claimed and cryo'ed into the storage container. Which gives you an S+ hatchery style breeding tool for live births and not just eggs.
