Who prefers the old Argentavis?

The new one may be more accurate but the old one looks like a badass EAGLE, and who doesn't want to ride a giant EAGLE ?

I like the new one

my reasons being that the old one had wings that were WAY too small for it to ever be able to believably fly, and its legs were so chunky xD to to mention how short and fat its body was

I'm not against modders bringing back the old one for people that prefer it though ^^ just stating why i like the new one more since it corrects all the issues i had with the old one

Kidding me? There's no comparison. I've grown to love the old model over the years but the new one is a thousand times better.

argentavis was a giant species of vulture anyways; i'm assuming it was always supposed to look vulture-esque but inexperience with modeling or whatnot led to it looking for like an eagle. either way, it looks much more believable in proportions now and it's easily my new favorite TLC model :>

I liked the butt of the old argentavis. But I haven't seen the new one yet with "my own eyes" because downloading 12.3GB with stupid dumb german internet is ... tiresome...

new model is more like the one we know. the Condor/Vulture is what it resembled.
the new looks goes after that, not like the "plump sparrow" it used to be.

So i do a guide over creature color regions, here's comparing the old argentavis from above to the new one for a direct comparison of proportions xD

Just throwing this out there for any who might like the older model, and those who would like the chance to play with both together, but Classic Flyers has already turned the old-model argent into a "new" dino. Classic Flyers calls it the "Harpagornis" named after the largest true eagle that ever lived. Harpagornis was known for having very short, broad wings which are well suited to the heavily forested areas it once lived in. A description that's very well suited to the appearance of the old argent model which was much more eagle-like than appropriate for a true argent.

Very nice to see and thanks for posting that! Still waiting on the download so I haven't been able to hop in yet and see it first hand. The new one has a completely different wing profile.
