How to Transfer Dedicated Server Save to Single Player?

I was playing Ark on a dedicated server using the website "Hosthavoc" and was wondering how to convert the save files from the server to a single player game. I asked their support team and all they said to do was download the "Saved" files from the server using Filezilla and replace the "Save" folder in my local files. Well I did that and I am unable to load it as a single player game and they said there was nothing else they could do so I am hoping someone on the forums is able to help me!

You do have to have access to the server's save files, yes. However WC have said that they will make those save files available for players to download when the servers are taken down in a few months, so that won't be a problem.

And the process for making them work in single player will be pretty much the same as mentioned in this thread. The only difference might be that here I specifically spoke of a Ragnarok save game, where if the save file is from another map you'd need to put it into a slightly different folder instead.

I'd explain more here, but there are some people on this board who get a little upset about bumping old threads. So if anyone needs further help with this, I'd recommend you make a new thread about it instead and we could continue the discussion there.
