Are Megalosaurus "good" on Aberration?
Normally Meglosaurus, well, are horrendous. They are quite powerful at night, but the degree to which they are crippled in daytime makes them useless on the other maps.
Is this different in Aberration? Megalosaurus are more common and it is, well, darker most of the time... does "nighttime" count as a longer duration on this map, or are Aberrant Megalosaurus better than their counterparts on The Island/The CenterRagnarok etc?
Or do they still suck ass...

Got a 13x / tamed 2xx, pretty usefull imo.
Can carry sheeps, fast runner ( for that 1 single metal node i found xD ),
shreds most stuff pretty quick - my best tame so far.

First i wanted spino, but megalosaurus is much easier to move in all those small routes i guess. Also i didn t need a behemoth gate/huge room as a pen.

Yes but, are they useless more than half of the time, that is my question... I know the things they excel at, powerful yet deceptively compact, fast & useful to carry creatures... But are they still stuck sleeping almost constantly?

they are the only thing that can carry creatures on Aberration so yes

but they still need sleep, however nigts last far longer

every few days the day and night length will cycle.

50%/50% -> 90%/10% -> 10%/90% -> 50%/50% -> ... and so on.

It pretty much evens out. But the 90% night periods are really good with a megalosaurus.

The Abarrant Megalo's don't need sleep.. however currently you can't breed them. They are bugged. The egg hatches as vanilla.. which do need sleep

yes point blank answer no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥..they still a useless dino..one of many.although usefull in some situations ..but still over all..sucky waste of time .

the length of night time in Aberration will change (not sure if its random), but when you press H in game. you can see that something about 50% daytime 50% night time. once i got a 90% night time and 10 % day

Seriously? Lol
So they can carry two Stegos which would be like 4 Trikes size, but they can't carry a single Trike? 🤣
