Corrupted Gigas

Sooo, how are the corrupted gigas? Obviously you wouldn't want to fight a wild giga with a tamed giga or other dino normally.. but is that the same case with the corrupted versions or are they easier to kill?

Corrupted are far easier to kill...no bleed effect so its cake.

I killed a level 5 with a Rex level 212, the Rex got 9k damage aprox.

An ascendant mek can take them on 1v1 reasonably easily, but if you get multiple on you it can get dangerous, and even when 1v1 you have to stop to regen health after facing 4-5 or so.

It's just the one corrupted giga right now so that's good to know mine with an ascendant saddle should handle him without too much issue. thanks guys.

Normal wild gigas have 80k HP, and a massive percentile bleed to their bite.

Corrupted gigas have 35k HP and no bleed. They are weaker, but also in some of the deeper parts you will fight MORE THAN ONE. Beware!

The Velonasaur's Spin Attack (RMB) will hit big enemies like Gigas multiple times per strike, a good leveled Velona will eat those corrupted Gigas and Wyverns like cookies!
