What's your favorite Tranq Mod?

I'm looking for a mod that adds stronger Tranqs to the game because I am sick of having to sink 50 shots into a dino for it to go down. However, most mods I've seen go waaaaaaay too far.

For example, More Narcotics & More Tranq-Arrows adds arrows that are 10, 50, 100, 200, 500x more potent. Like... I'm pretty sure you could 1 tap anything in the game with the 100x one.

Are there any more balanced tranq mods?

You'll not find mods with subtle effects, generally. It is typically gameplay changing stuff for the kids. Which is fine. I've not found a need for anything to modify tranqs, even 150 Theri and Rex only require like 30 darts with a 200% longneck... Giga is different ofc but it is end game by design.

All the maths suggest that xbow is most efficient in terms of resources per torpor applied... but there's no reason to be that anal really. I've couldn't spend all my narcotics if I tried so just use em up ya know?

Just knocked out and tamed like 5 150 Theris and still have a Large Storage full of Narcotic.

To iterate on what Happy Merchant said, find a good Longneck BP (or get the upgrade station mod if you don't like grinding for BP's) and just use Shocking Tranquilizer Darts. Difference is night and day.

Or just get upgrade station mod, and max out tranq weapons to 755%.

Really what you're wanting is to reduce your time sink. There are so many different paths up the mountain in this regard.
