See Friends Names regardles of distance

Is there a setting or a mod we can use, on a non-dedicated hosted server my friend is hosting on his computer for us to play on, that will allow the rest of us to see our tribe members names, regardless of distance to them? We are friends, playing together.

We can always see the hosts name and his distance to us. But we can't see each other if we are more than around 50m away.

So many times someone will get ambushed and be getting attacked and we have no idea where that person is.

Is there a setting or a mod to enable this always on?

I haven't tried it myself so I don't know if it'd be what you're looking for, it just sprung to mind when I read your post.

Ok, this mod seems to have been removed before we even got a chance to try it.
Anybody know of any other options?

you probably already know it (and it's probably not what you're looking for) but you can still use the 'Transponder Tracker' for the moment if you really want to see where's your friend (since it's working on human too :p )

in-game item actually (you can still use it if you really want to see your friends from any distance, if you can't find any mod) https://ark.gamepedia.com/Transponder_Tracker (lvl 66 to unlock it)

6 year old thread, it cannot be done without a mod if there is one but you can use the transponder like mention above.
