Titanoboa help

So I found a low level boa, carried it back to my area, and now he's on the beach, with nother else alive anywhere close. I then go up into the air, and drop a fertilized giga egg right in front of its face. It just sits there, even moving away from the egg..... How do you "help it" eat the egg?

It's honestly slithering right past fertilized giga eggs.... Nothing around to attack, it's not aggroing me because it's going away from me. I got no idea how this works, lol.

The snake's hunger is still a factor - it won't eat until it's hunger drops low enough. From what I've seen if a snake sees an egg it'll wander over to it and sit by it, guarding it, until it's hunger drops low enough, then it will eat it. Then of course the egg will refil it's hunger stat so you'll have to wait for it to be hungry again before it will eat another.

The Egg must be in your inventory not in your Dino's inventory. Then drop the Egg and the Titanboa will eat it.

Oh really? Can I at least be mounted, and O it from my own inventory?

I havent tried this but it should work, as it shows that you dropped it and not the dino. On another note anyone taming titanoboas on SE or Ragnarok if you stockpile wyvern eggs they will eat those with high taming effectiveness as well, should save lots of peeps time breeding as wyvern eggs respawn a lot faster.

Yea you can be mounted when you drop the egg, items dropped by you are what the snake uses to record as its master. Mounts cant be the one who drops the egg.
