It's literally the only use the Titanboa has.

They can, they randomly lay them, mantis dont have gender and you get eggs from them. Get a oviraptor to make them lay more

Ahh your right, I actually had forgotten the Mantis don't have a gender.

Mantis do have a gender, but you cant breed them. Just like scorpions

But you still get eggs from them, so you can still use them to farm kibble

I didnt say they couldnt, just that they do have a gender ;)

Keep in mind that the tamed titanboa is new in the game and its probably still bugged. I have yet to see an egg appear with the ones we have

I made a second wall around my base and then filled the space in between with TBoa's. I have a giant snake pit guarding my base. I love it. I pump half of them with health and speed and the other half with Melee and health. No body that enters there comes out alive....believe me.

The tamed titanoboa's do eventually lay eggs and they eat only normal eggs, to be honest it seems to be an egg farm dino

Wrong. My friend breeds them. Maybe back then you couldn't breed them, but now you can. You just cannot pick up their eggs. You have to leave them lay where they drop them.
